Democracy is not freedom. It is the exact opposite. It is the power to rule your neighbor. If your neighbor is subject to your vote (or to the people you vote in), then he is not free.
Isn't this obvious?
I call for an immediate abolition of the government, to be accomplished by giving every person the right to secede and form their own institutions for the protection of their liberties, as called for in the Declaration of Independence.
And what I am doing is immeasurably better for you than voting. When you vote, you are attacking the welfare of me and my family. Meanwhile, I am lovingly calling for you to be granted freedom and prosperity.
This system is wrong. I will not legitimize it in any way.

Umm, what you are calling for David is called anarchy by another name. Unfortunately, you are also going against the express will of God, who ordained human government and called for us to pray for those over us, not abolish them.
No, Stan, I am not calling for anarchy by another name. I am calling for anarchy explicitly. Moreover, I believe God calls for it, as well. He commands us to submit to government. That does not mean we are authorized to encourage the use of force which is at the heart of government.
Stan, read closely how I stated that abolition should occur. What would would be Biblically wrong about telling people, "You can withdraw now, and form your own government if you want. Or you can stay with us. You can change your mind later, too."?
On a personal level, isn't that exactly what God said to do in the most sacred human covenant of all, marriage? [I Corinthians 7:15]
